Jacques Delacour, President, CEO and Founder
Jacques Delacour founded OPTIS in 1989, launching the company with SOLSTIS—the first software application to calculate simultaneously optics, photometry and laser propagation. Jacques Delacour has always been the driving force behind the company’s quest for innovation, constantly investing in research and development to enable OPTIS to supply customers with the most powerful solution for light simulation. Jacques is graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'Optique at Paris Palaiseau.
Pete Moorhouse, Vice President, Sales
Pete Moorhouse joined OPTIS in August 2008, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and management experience and the critical connection between technology, sales, and the customer. He was previously at ICEM (Dassault Systèmes), playing the key role in defining product strategy.
Philippe Billaud, Vice President, Finance
Philippe Billaud joined OPTIS in January 2008 as Vice President of Finance. He specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and capital development. Philippe was Chief Financial Officer and General Secretary of ESI Group from 1990 to 2007.
Nicolas Dalmasso, OPTIS Imagine COO
Nicolas Dalmasso is one of the co-founders of SimplySim. He is a computer science engineer, with a passion for 3D and virtual reality. He’s an expert in 3D technologies, former CEO of SimplySim and now in charge of the research and development team working on virtual reality products.
John Maxfield, Executive Director at OPTIS Pristine
After completing his PhD in Distributed Virtual Environments, John worked with SGI and as a Research Fellow for 6 years. He co-founded Icona Solutions in 2002, a company specializing in the delivery of Perceived Quality solutions based on his previous research work, where he led product development, support and consultancy services for over 12 years.Icona Solutions was acquired by OPTIS Group in October 2013 and John continued as Executive Director of the business.
Chris Grieve, Business Development Manager
Chris Grieve joined OPTIS in January 2009, bringing over 25 years of CAD consulting experience and industry knowledge. Having worked previously for Computervision and Dassault Systèmes, Chris is responsible for the development of the consulting and Pre-sales activity in OPTIS.
Gilles Gallée, Solutions Director
Gilles Gallée joined OPTIS in 2013. Gilles Gallée received Master’s degree of engineering in computer science and digital image processing in 1993. He formerly was Technical Director and he has been taking on the products and projects direction at Oktal, a simulation products company. He is now in charge of the Solutions department at OPTIS.
Günther Hasna Dipl. Ing, Chief Technology Officer
Günther Hasna graduated in 1989 from the Munich University of Applied Sciences where he gained the Dipl. Ing Mechatronics/Precision Engineering. After working for TEMIC on optoelectronic sensors in automotive applications, he joined OPTIS in 1996 as software support manager, then Application Engineering Manager. He was made Chief Technology Officer in 2010.
Ludovic Manillier, Functional Innovation Expert
Ludovic Manillier graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Marseille, France, in 1995, as an optical engineer. He worked for Valeo Lighting Systems as a taillamp designer, where he piloted the company’s implementation of Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA V5 PLM software, for Valeo’s optical applications. He then joined OPTIS R&D department where he participated in the development of SPEOS light simulation software. Ludovic played a key role in the integration of SPEOS in CATIA V5.
Christian Hesse, Innovation Director
Christian Hesse joined the OPTIS team in 2013. He holds an engineering degree in imaging and an Executive MBA from Paris HEC. He started his career as a video games programmer and has worked for Atari during 3 years. Benefiting from this experience he worked as a production Manager at Cryo Interactive. In 1998, he launched and managed his own internet start-up, developing virtual worlds for industries. 7 years later, he obtained a position as a COO for the French leader in serious gaming. Nowadays, he is an expert for Cap Digital (the French business cluster in digital content) and Innovation Director at OPTIS.
Dominique Chabaud, Technical Innovation Expert
Dominique Chabaud brings over twenty years of experience in software development and in development projects for the French defense agency, DGA. Dominique wrote several books on Microsoft programming.
