Jacques Delacour, President, CEO and Founder
Jacques Delacour founded OPTIS in 1989, launching the company with SOLSTIS—the first software application to calculate simultaneously optics, photometry and laser propagation. J Delacour has always been the driving force behind the company’s quest for innovation, constantly investing in research and development to enable OPTIS to supply customers with the most powerful solution for light simulation. J Delacour possesses a PhD in Optics from the Ecole Supérieure d'Optique at Paris Orsay.
J Delacour was awarded the prestigious distinction “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite” (National Order of Merit) in April 2010 for OPTIS’ 20 years of service to the French defense industry.
Pete Moorhouse, Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Pete Moorhouse joined OPTIS in August 2008, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and management experience and the critical connection between technology, sales, and the customer. He was previously at ICEM (Dassault Systèmes), playing the key role in defining product strategy.
Philippe Billaud, Vice President, Finance
Philippe Billaud joined OPTIS in January 2008 in the newly created position of Vice President of Finance. He specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and capital development. P Billaud was Chief Financial Officer and General Secretary of ESI Group from 1990 to 2007.
Dominique Chabaud, Vice President, Research and Development
Dominique Chabaud brings over twenty years of experience in software development and in development projects for the French defense agency, DGA. D Chabaud has authored several books on Microsoft programming.
Günther Hasna Dipl. Ing, Chief Technology Officer
Günther Hasna graduated in 1989 from the Munich University of Applied Sciences where he gained the Dipl. Ing Mechatronics/Precision Engineering. After working for TEMIC on optoelectronic sensors in automotive applications, he joined OPTIS in 1996 as software support manager, then Application Engineering Manager. He was made Chief Technology Officer in 2010.
Chris Grieve, Global Service Manager
Chris Grieve joined OPTIS in January 2009, bringing over 25 years of CAD consulting experience and industry knowledge.
Having worked previously for Computervision and Dassault Systèmes, C Grieve is responsible for the development of the consulting and Pre-sales activity in OPTIS.
Ludovic Manillier, Product Manager
Ludovic Manillier graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Marseille, France as an optical engineer in 1995.
He worked for Valeo Lighting Systems as a taillamp designer, where he piloted the company’s implementation of Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA V5 PLM software, for Valeo’s optical applications.
He then joined OPTIS R&D department where he participated in the development of SPEOS light simulation software. L Manillier played a key role in the integration of SPEOS in CATIA V5.
