  • OPTIS was the first to provide a colorimetric simulation software in 1999. Since then its technology has continued to develop.
  • In SPEOS technology software, we use information from the full spectrum which is the only way to obtain the exact color whereas in the RGB approach it is a projection of the spectrum on the 3 primary colors. It means that many spectral components are lost.

  • SPEOS Technology takes into account spectral transmission (transparent materials), spectral reflection (mirrors), spectral diffusion (plaster) to calculate the real appearance of a system in a given lighting environment.
